MotorWorld was founded in 2023 by a team with over 15 years of experience in automotive repairs, sales, and the full range of car ownership.

The idea behind MotorWorld came from a straightforward frustration. Drivers were dealing with three or four different businesses to sort their cars: one garage for servicing, a separate dealer to buy or sell, someone else to handle an insurance claim after an accident. Each one took time, added cost, and meant starting from scratch each time something went wrong.

MotorWorld was built to change that. One site in Walkden where you can get your MOT done, have your car repaired, handle a non-fault claim, and browse the dealership without going anywhere else. The team brought their combined experience in vehicle repairs and automotive retail into a single operation, and MotorWorld opened in 2023.

Since then, we've grown the operation: IMI Level 3 qualified technicians on site, specialist EV and 4x4 capabilities, and a dealership running alongside the service centre. The goal has stayed the same. Give drivers in Walkden and Greater Manchester one place they can trust with everything.

Our technicians hold IMI Level 3 qualifications, the Institute of the Motor Industry standard for automotive work. Credentials matter, and we think customers deserve to see them.

Honest about everything

We tell you what's wrong, what it costs to fix, and what's covered under warranty before any work starts. A 3-year parts warranty is included on all work. Labour is not covered. We say so clearly, every time.

Motorworld was a chance find on autotrader, I then found the website and I am so glad I did. Bought the car on Friday and I have it today, less then a week later with a bank Holiday in the middle. I want to say thank you to the lads, they are brilliant and I am glad I found them. Had a small issue and straight out. I will be back when it's time to MOT!

Great service they gave my van a recovery and fixed the problem the same day , even staying till 10 pm to make sure I had it the next day , would honestly recommend their services to anyone 👍

I had a new water pump and timing belt fitted in my car with Motorworld. Cheaper then other quotes I had, fit me in quicker then initially quoted and open and honest communication from them. Went to see them for a diagnosis of my issues on a Friday afternoon and had a new water pump and timing belt fitted by Saturday afternoon. Great service and will be the first place I stop by if I have any more car issues.

Came in for my car brakes and they were sorted while I waited. Cold drinks in the fridge and did not take long. Cheaper price than elsewhere. Highly reccomend and definitely coming back!
