The idea behind MotorWorld came from a straightforward frustration. Drivers were dealing with three or four different businesses to sort their cars: one garage for servicing, a separate dealer to buy or sell, someone else to handle an insurance claim after an accident. Each one took time, added cost, and meant starting from scratch each time something went wrong.
MotorWorld was built to change that. One site in Walkden where you can get your MOT done, have your car repaired, handle a non-fault claim, and browse the dealership without going anywhere else. The team brought their combined experience in vehicle repairs and automotive retail into a single operation, and MotorWorld opened in 2023.
Since then, we've grown the operation: AA Approved Dealer status, IMI Level 3 qualified technicians on site, specialist EV and 4x4 capabilities, and a dealership running alongside the service centre. The goal has stayed the same. Give drivers in Walkden and Greater Manchester one place they can trust with everything.

Our technicians hold IMI Level 3 qualifications, the Institute of the Motor Industry standard for automotive work. We also hold AA Approved Dealer status, a nationally recognised quality mark. Credentials matter, and we think customers deserve to see them.

We tell you what's wrong, what it costs to fix, and what's covered under warranty before any work starts. A 3-year parts warranty is included on all work. Labour is not covered. We say so clearly, every time.
